Privacy Policy

For anonymous use, we store a per-device token, coarse location for the reports you submit, any media you upload, and technical logs. For account holders, we additionally store your email, password hash, chosen username, display name, language preference, and activity records tied to your account.

To operate the platform: display and moderate reports, keep the community safe, run the leaderboard and gamification features you opt into, send notifications you have subscribed to, and support you when you contact us.

Public reports display an approximate area, never exact coordinates. We intentionally reduce precision to protect reporters and communities.

Reports and their uploaded media auto-delete approximately 24 hours after submission. Account data is retained until you delete your account. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept longer for public interest reporting.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share data with advertisers. We may disclose limited information when required by valid legal process, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of the community.

We use essential cookies and local storage to run the platform (session, language, anonymous device token, consent choices). Analytics and marketing storage are optional and only enabled with your consent via the cookie banner.

You can change your language, notification preferences, cookie choices, and leaderboard visibility from your profile. You can browse and submit reports anonymously without creating an account.

La Migra App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy. Material changes prompt a fresh acceptance the next time you use the platform.

You can download a copy of your personal data or request account deletion at any time from Profile → Your Data. Deletion has a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel. After deletion, personal identifiers are removed; anonymized public safety reports and legally required records may be retained.
